Today I picked up Finn from preschool and we went over to the library to return our old books and get some new, while we were there we she brought me a book (too many dogs). I thought she wanted me to read it to her but I quickly figured out that she was ready to tackle it :) she sounded out each letter and with a little assistance from me read her first book. It was the ONE time I didn't bring my camera so of course when we got home we had to do a little photo shoot of her and the book.... she wasn't totally excited about the picture thing but at least I have something to show her years from now.
